The current research effort is continuing the eclipsing binary project with Dr. Russ Genet of the Orion Observatory. Stars being studied are:

V1191 Cyg, a nearly 90 degree, edge-on total eclipsing contact binary in Cygnus

V523 Cas, we have accumulated over 75,000 data point on this system since the project started in 2004
